The toilet in our hotel room plugged the second night of our stay,we where told there was no maintenance to contact that evening then handed a plunger to solve our own problem(which we were unable to do). We then had to use the public restroom in the hotel. take care of the problem our selfs.we where

Room was average and showing some age, mattresses on beds were very soft, hotel's indoor water park is awesome with slides, water basketball,etc. Breakfast lacked hot selections but had a decent cold, cereal, pastries variety. Staff was very helpful.

Hidden charges. $10 a day for parking and also a 5% lodging tax. I didn’t find that out till after I arrived. If you open parking info on hotels.com it says about parking . But why would I open up the parking info if I had been there at least 1 time a year for last 5 to 6 years. Charges in the past were alway everything . Also when I got there I was told that they would be cleaning carpets in the rooms the next day so I had to leave for the day and I came back and had the take 2 chairs off the top of the desk.

The rooms and overall hotel is very dated, very ran down and not well kept at all. The room was dirty with cobwebs hanging from the ceiling, the bathroom was filthy and there was urine from a previous guest at the bottom of the toilet with the bathroom door rotting from moisture. The carpet in the room is dingy and filthy. The room doors have a significant gap and you can heat everything that happens in the hallway. The breakfast is terrible - no protein options at all. We are Colorado Natives and have been going to Glenwood since we were kids and have stayed in many other hotels, all of which are better than this hotel. We will not be staying here in the future.

First off the staff were amazing, very friendly and helpful. That is key to any business, they made me feel welcomed. The room was huge, everything was great, I think they recently replaced the carpet or it was in a newer condition. My only suggestion would be to replace or clean the showerhead. Mine was clogged.

The first room I was put in was filthy. Stains on bed and dirty sheets. Hair in shower. I was moved to another room, I should have checked it better. We went to dinner and came back to go to bed and found hair in sheets, bugs on floor, hair in shower. It is an outdated hotel with sheets that are yellow and need to be changed out.

The hotel is run down and not clean. There wasn’t any housekeeping services, our trash was never picked up even after leaving it outside our room door. The paint was peeling from the bathroom and the bathroom door was falling apart. The rooms are very small for a family of 4. On top of everything the rooms are very expensive!!!

Room was on the smaller side. Bed was comfortable but the pillows were not great. Indoor pool was fun for the kids. Hot tub was hot but the jets didn’t work. Location was great to access the adventure park and the hot springs. Overall ok.

Amazing hotel for families with the water park and big continental breakfast. Bed was very comfortable, and staff was very kind in letting us check in so that our toddler could nap, and gave us a free upgrade into a suite! That service had me surprised to see very dusty vents and mold under the rim of the toilet of our room, and lots of debris on the carpet in the hallways that was not vacuumed over two days. Not deal breakers and still overall impressed and would stay again!

The hotel itself was fine. Staff could be a little more well trained and professional however. We picked Hotel Glenwood Springs because it is pet friendly. We've stayed at other hotels that disclose up-front if there is an extra pet fee. Many have been no extra fee for pets. No where in my registration did I find a pet fee. The hotel also charged an extra $10 for parking which was not disclosed when we reserved our room. In addition to that there was an extra fee on my card the next day for $6.75. When checking out, I asked the clerk about that and was told it would be credited back to my account. It has not been credited back. Had we known that the room was going to cost an additional nearly $60, we would have stayed at a nicer hotel where the fees were transparent. If your fees were in the paperwork, they were buried in it, and not transparent. I did go through the reservation paperwork again when we returned home and did not find any of these fees anywhere. This is deceptive and unacceptable. We feel very taken advantage of. We will not be back.

I think the maintenance man needs to pay a visit to our room because the deadbolt on the door didn't work, the shower bar is about ready to come off the wall, the vanity faucet isn't secured and flops around, and the TV is hanging crooked as a dogs hind leg. The bed is very comfortable, the pillows are made for a doll house, but the Jacuzzi tub in the room is fantastic!!

It was alright but a little underwhelming for the price. The game room is pretty good for sure. The water slide is good. The beds are super weird like industrial air mattresses. Our room had a old pane of glass that needed to be replaced. It looked to have leaked so long that it just had a crusty residue between the panes. It looked like old spray on snow like you see around Christmas. Staff was super nice. Lobby is nicely redone but it kind of ends there.

It was my first time staying in this hotel, and it was a very nice experience. It is conveniently placed right next to the gondola that takes you up to the Glenwood Caverns amusement park, and right behind is a trail to the Iron Mountain Hotsprings. My room had a hot tub in it that was clean and well maintained. Overall experience for me was a 5/5

This was a very misleading advertisement. The whole hotel needs an upgrade for the price. The staff couldn’t be any happier they could care less. The Breakfast don’t count on that it is the WORST!!! Not to mention that someone was sick and that was our side for the whole stay. The picnic tables could be cleaned. Just Do better for the price the lobby is cute the place is horrible. Parking is extra $10 a day I stay all over the country and world and will NEVER use Hotels.com let alone stay at this hotel again the Silver Spruce hotel is what I would suggest well kept and very nice staff.

This was our 2nd stay at this hotel. It will always be our go-to place to stay when we are in Glenwood. Convenient location and a great pool with slide to keep the kids happy. Comfortable beds and a very friendly and helpful staff. 10 out of 10- would highly recommend. That has been our experience.

We stayed with kids and the water park was a hit. Being right next to the Gondola for the Caverns was good. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Kids enjoyed the game room. Rooms were clean and quiet. Hotel needs an update, carpets have large stains especially downstairs by game room and looked as they have not been vacuumed in weeks.
