Lovely hotel but not much about it

My husband and I stayed for 2 nights, overall we enjoyed the stay (breakfast was definitely a highlight and would highly recommend including this in your stay, extremely good value for money). The hotel was very clean, room was basic but serviceable. The pool area was lovely. The only real issue was the bed. It’s not possible to sleep close to your partner because they are 2 very skinny singles pushed together. It doesn’t take much for the beds to drift apart either (VERY annoying). If you’re looking for private time with your husband / wife / partner then you’ll either need to be creative as the bed isn’t really an option or perhaps stay elsewhere. Location was fairly good, although we were a bit further out than we thought we’d be. Considering the room rate though I’d say we couldn't have gotten any closer to Palma or Cala Major for the price so it was good overall.

It's great that the hotel has some single rooms that make it affordable. The view from the balcony was nice. The shower is very small, though! I'm a short and slim person, but it was a struggle to use the shower. It's a shame no drinking water is provided in the room upon arrival. You have to buy bottled water at the vending machines (cash only) or elsewhere.
The restaurant provides a lot of options, but it's not labelled clearly and trying to get allergen or dietary info was a hassle. It only really caters to those who don't need to consider what they're eating in any way. The buffet restaurant is not a relaxing experience.
The staff seem quite unhappy. Maybe they are underpaid and undertrained? I think it's probably the former. The hotel's vibe could be improved dramatically by staff who have better customer service skills. Please invest in your staff!
I essentially got what I paid for, but it's not somewhere I'd return to unless there were an excellent offer. It depends on what you're looking for.
