Pine Inn

Really enjoyed our stay. PROS: - Very nice, very clean property - Excellent service from bell boy and house keeping - Loved our room, very spacious (Rm #1) - Comfortable bed - Plenty of hot water for showers - Bottled waters every day - Great shampoo, conditioner, body wash CONS: -We stayed in room #1, which was right by the bakery door and one of the resteraunt doors. It wasn't an issue until Friday night when loud people were leaving the resteraunt (We go to bed early). -You can't really open a window or the blinds in room #1, since everyone walking through courtyard/ in and out of bakery/hotel can see right in. - The hotel does not have a business center. Of course, it was the one time my husband needed to use an actual computer. But. There was a library just up the street. - Most of the rooms do not have air conditioning. Ours did, but it did not work too well. - No coffee in the room (you could order room service), but had bakery/coffee for purchase right outside the door.

The Pine Inn worked well for traveling w a baby as central location allowed us to take him home for naps easily. They also brought a small fridge to our standard rm for bottles. It’s such a charming facility w nostalgia that we loved. Staff was wonderful too

We had a lovely stay at Pine Inn. The location truly can’t be beat—right in the heart of Carmel and less than a 10-minute walk to the beach, which made everything feel easy and accessible. I was traveling with my infant, and the hotel staff were incredibly accommodating. They provided a crib and even a refrigerator for storing her food, which made a huge difference in keeping our routine smooth and stress-free. Parking is definitely limited, so that’s something to keep in mind. We were fortunate to find a spot right outside the hotel, but I can see how it could be tricky during busier times. Overall, a charming and convenient place to stay, especially for families looking for a central location with thoughtful touches.

Parking was a challenge but otherwise a very nice place to stay. I love the history and vintage look of the hotel. Also a great restaurant connected for all meals.
