Hotel del Patio

We got placed in a room right next to the generator and if that wasn't going the cleaning staff were louder. No respect for people sleeping past 6am. The reception staff were a great bunch of lads, really helpful and polite the entire time. They moved us rooms within a few hours after voicing out concerns. No fault of the hotel but there were powercuts for the entire 5 day period, they do have a generator but it's not on consistently, definitely plan for that. The shower worked well but it legitimately takes up to 5 mins for the water to get warm/hot. Got free shampoo and soap to use as well. The rooms were great though, beds and pillows really comfy, aircon machines worked great. They have good TV's, they have heaps of channels that give access to paid tennis and football events etc The hotel grounds were clean and well presented, definitely felt upmarket. The pool area was good, only downside was the state of the pool. The tiles were coming off the floor, the light was floating in the water, just felt that could be fixed properly. Last times attempts to stick the tiles down just didn't work and the sticky putty got everywhere. We could see green algae coming up with every footstep in the pool, also the pool was always full of debris, it got abit much by the late afternoons that we chose not to swim. Besides that, we did swim every morning and it's a great way to cool down from the relentless heat/humidity of Flores. But the pool needs draining and properly fixed and cleaned. They do offer food, but was too expensive for us. But there is free water all over the hotel for you to fill up water bottles, it comes out cold as well which was a bonus for us. Great location as well, close to a shopping mall or a short walk across to flores Island. There is also a cheap supermarket at the end of the road. We really enjoyed our time here and would recommend it to everyone.

This was good placement in Flores- near restaurants , can walk over to Flores island or take Tuk Tuk or boat over to island or to San Miguel for 10-15 quetzals . I preferred staying away from the island and going over. Hotel was clean, large rooms, aircon, breakfast if you want and drinking water readily available throughout the property. TV, nice swimming pool , hammock and just really nice place to chill. Staff attentive and helpful.

Hotel molto pulito, con aria condizionata, wifi funzionante, accesso alla piscina, acqua calda, staff molto gentile. Consigliato! Location vicino all’Isla de Flores, é possibile raggiungere Flores a piedi e girare nelle vicinanze a piedi, ma dopo il tramonto noi abbiamo preso taxi o tuktuk, quindi da tenere in considerazione, anche perché dopo le 19:30 i tuktuk smettono di lavorare.

Overall not bad considering location in Santa Elena across the causeway from Flores (island). Decent room, nice pool and clean. Staff weren't always the friendliest but we managed to get what we needed.
