We had the room with the private pool this time, and let me tell you it was gorgeous!! The pool could use a little updating, but the property is under new ownership and they are renovating everything. When we got there we were told they were giving us a free tour at the hanging bridges… we’ve been to La Fortuna many times, but had never done this activity. This is a DO NOT MISS location! We saw so many birds, a coati, 5 different eyelash vipers, blue jean frogs, etc. I highly recommend staying here, this was our second time and both rooms were great! Ohh. And there are fireflies there in June!!

Everything was great. The house, the staff, the accommodations while some parts are under construction, the breakfast. Etc.
