Eden Roc Resort Hotel

From the outset, the Eden Roc resort staff were so friendly and helpful from booking in to checking out and all of the dealings in between. Nothing was too much trouble for anyone. Everything was inclusive and the quality and variety of the food and drinks was exceptional. All areas were clean and you could not wish for any additional facilities in my opinion. The site is large with 9 restaurants, several bars, several pools, one beach area, games and activity areas and a shop They seemed to think of everything including facilitating guests to watch the World Cup while we were there. The resort is close to Rhodes old town and transport to and from the resort was easily arranged. The only negatives to note: I was disappointed that my bed was two twins pushed together and that was also my son and his wife’s experience, it was difficult to book some of the restaurants for evening sittings, if you didn’t get to the pools early in the morning, the beds and shades would already be taken (by guests depositing a towel and then walking away) and even though there was a policy of removal of towels if the beds were not ‘inhabited’ over the course of an hour, this was difficult for the resort to police (however there were always free beds and shades beachside) and the evening entertainment, although very talented was a little ‘samey’. All in all though, a very pleasant experience.

The staff are Eden Roc,s biggest asset as they looked after us at the pool, bars, restaurants, rooms and reception always with a smile and a warm and friendly chat. The rooms are well appointed and clean. The pool areas are well maintained with comfortable sun beds and good towels provided. The restaurants to choose from are varied in types of cuisine and mostly good, our favourite was Miraflores Peruvian cuisine which was excellent. Our only negative was the poor choice of beer in the bars we would have preferred Alfa or Mythos greek beers. Lovely holiday cheers

The hotel is beautiful and the location unique. The food at the buffets is varied and good, better than the restaurants. The staff was nice and helpful and the all inclusive is truly all inclusive. The only reason why it's not a 5 is the entertainment. There was quality live music every evening, but no other activities. The animation team was invisible throughout the day and didn't do much than dancing and clapping in the evenings. Overall it was still an excellent experience.

The staff were very friendly. The food was very good and the A La carte restaurants were fantastic. Highly recommend this place.
