The Palms Resort

I recently stayed at The Palms Resort in Sunset Crest with my husband for two nights, and we had a lovely experience. On arrival, there was some parking available, though I imagine that if the main parking area is full, guests may need to park on the nearby side streets. The property itself was clean, inviting, and very peaceful. We checked in around 7 p.m., and the lighting around the property, along with the pool area, made everything feel warm and welcoming. Check-in was smooth, and we paid our deposit at reception. The reception area was cool, stylish, and had snacks and drinks available, which was a nice touch. We were shown to our room and given the passcode. As soon as we walked in, we felt like we were officially on vacation. The open living and dining area was clean, cool, and comfortable. The furniture was cozy, and the TV had plenty of options, from regular channels to apps. The kitchen was clean and well equipped for dining. It was spacious enough if you wanted to cook, but still separate enough from the living area to keep the space feeling organized. The fridge was also clean. The bedroom looked just like the photos. It had two double beds, which were comfortable. The bedding could be a little more plush, but we still slept very well. One small note: a little air conditioning goes a long way! The bathroom was clean and perfectly adequate. The shower was a little on the narrow side, but that was not a major issue for us, and the water was hot. We especially enjoyed the pool on a hot day. Overall, we felt safe, relaxed, and comfortable throughout our stay. We will definitely be booking again for future getaways. I would 100% recommend The Palms Resort. It is also very close to useful shops, which makes the location even more convenient.

We stayed here for 3 weeks in May and honestly couldn’t have asked for a better place. This hotel is superb and really at the top end of a 3-star rating. Our apartment was perfect—everything you could possibly need, truly a real home from home. The apartment was cleaned daily to a very high standard, with a special mention to Coreen, who looked after ours so wonderfully. Her attention to detail was fantastic. The bed and pillows… wow! I slept 9+ hours every night, which is something I never normally do at home as I suffer from arthritis, so that says a lot about the comfort. The pool was another big highlight—pool towels were included, which was a lovely touch, and it was perfect for cooling down day or night. We loved the peaceful location. With only 16 apartments, it felt quiet, relaxed, and personal. It was so nice getting to meet other guests, swapping stories, and sharing tips on places to visit. Despite being in a quiet spot, everything was still within easy reach—just a 10-minute stroll to the supermarket, shops, bars, and restaurants. We absolutely loved our stay and will definitely make this our go-to place anytime we return. Highly recommended!

Good location, clean, 15-20 minute walk to stores. Safe.
