Relaxing getaway. Clean and quiet

This was our second stay at this motel, as the location is great, right near the River, and not on a highway! The rooms are large and the beds very comfortable. There’s a nice kitchen and good bathrooms with plenty of towels, and other things you need. The toilet seat was broken in our room, but when we reported it the next morning, we were told it wasn’t broken, that there was a release button that had probably been pressed by the cleaners. Well, eye for detail should ensure this doesn’t happen! There was also no soap dish in the shower, so where do you put your soap? On the floor it seems. The provided soap was terrible, you couldn’t get a lather up, but luckily there was some bath gel in a small bottle.

Everything about this motel is just perfect. It may be small, but it is in a great location and the rooms are always very clean and tidy. The staff are also extremely helpful and welcoming, which makes every stay even more enjoyable. I have stayed here a few times now, and it has become my go-to motel whenever I am in Ballina. I would happily recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and reliable place to stay.

Really good sized room with large, well equipped kitchenette. The bed was reasonable. Overall it was relatively clean but had an overwhelming smell of whatever cleaning product was used. The shower had quite a bit of mould in the grout. Location was good to go for a stroll along the water.
