The best hotel we stayed at during this trip. The owners/staff were simply outstanding. Very helpful with tips for seeing the area and making sure all our needs were met. Breakfast was excellent. Location was perfect and there was a lot to park in across the street. It was a short walk to Old Town.

The staff is amazing. Machela in particular was so friendly and helpful. She made us feel special. The hotel is fantastic and it looks just like the pictures. Little patios with flowering plants are all around the hotel. Short walking distance to town with terrific restaurants. It was a highlight of our two week trip to France!

The young ladies at the front desk were so very helpful and kind! The room was light and bright, spacious and clean, and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was just right-lots of choices of good food. The location was great because other hotels were on hills while from this hotel my husband could comfortable walk to all the sights except the river. Highly recommended.

We absolutely loved our stay at this family run hotel. It was quaint and within walking distance to the city center. The staff were very friendly and helpful with any questions we had even though our French was not to fluent. The breakfast was wonderful with of items to choose from and an indoor or outdoor seating area to enjoy eat and enjoy yourself. The rooms were clean and comfortable. This hotel was just what we were looking for in Dinan. We highly recommend Saint-Malo Gate Hotel to anyone looking to visit the area. Truly a hidden gem! We will definitely being staying here again during our next visit to the area. Merci beaucoup to all the staff!

A charming hotel right in the historic area of Dinan. Breakfast was amazing! The hospitality was kind and welcoming. You can enjoy wine in their bar area or in the outside patio. Historic building adds character being possibly one of the oldest buildings in Dinan. Walkable to all the sights. Would highly come back and we recommend.

The hotel is lovely! Our room was spacious, and well appointed. There were cute outdoor sitting areas within the property. Parking was on the street but we had no difficulty finding a spot. Walking distance to old town. If in the area would definitely stay here again!

The hotel is partially renovated, we had the room on the top floor. Because there is no elevato the staff was able to help with bags. The only disappointment is that the towels were not changed so i suggest to ask and make sure if you want that too happen. Breakfast was very nice with local food.

Lovely property just outside the city gates. Kevin and Roxana are adorable and made us feel very welcome. You can tell they are working very hard to make this new property the best hotel they can. It’s clean, spacious and quiet. Lots of free parking nearby. Wish we had more time to spend here.
