Ratings and reviews
8.8 / 10Excellent·Oct 2026
The motel is right by the lake, and there is a row of similar accommodations along the lakeshore.
It is well-equipped with kitchen facilities. We didn’t cook, but we saw other guests in neighbouring units preparing their own meals.
The grounds are lovely and well maintained. Perfect for self-drive travellers.

Enjoyed my stay here, I had a 1 bedroom room with a living area. Served the purpose and close to all amenities.

Basic old style motel with additional services available. Main bed only had one bedside table - tough luck for the other partner.
'Reading lights' are ceiling mounted over the bed and are like interrogation spotlights - no reading lamp.
Windows can't be opened more than 5cm so fresh air restricted. No insect screens on windows or doors.
No light weight curtain between main block-out curtain and large sliding doors - so choice of total block-out or no privacy in the day time. Same for windows.
Smoke alarm location on a wall in a corner is likely illegal.
Shower in bathtub is bizarre. A single rotating control going clockwise from cold to hot with no volume adjustment - force is like a mini-Niagara Falls.
If you do choose this one ask for lakeside - otherwise it's the carpark view.
