    My daughter and I spent the weekend here for her birthday. It's location made our shopping more fun because we didn't have to travel far. Staff were extremely nice. Atmosphere was quit. Room was decent. I wish we had a microwave in our room though.

    A budget hotel is one thing but this place was the dirtiest hotel I've been in. The bathroom in our room looked like it had never been cleaned. Also, the morning of our departure- well before check out time- the manager let himself into out room. No knock. No apology. Find somewhere else to stay.

    Had reservations for 2 nights. Called to tell them we would be in late, but we were coming. They could not find the reservations. The first night, the room had no TP. Called for some, told it could be picked up at the front desk. Got to the front desk and the clerk just stared at me like he did not understand what I wanted. Got up in the morning and they wanted to check us out. Said we had reservations for 2 nights. They claimed the second night I reserved with only one bed. I made the reservation in one call for 2 nights. So, they got us a room for 2 beds, but they would not give us the same room, so we had to move. Had to clean the tub before I could take a shower as it had not been cleaned. But there was TP in this room, the last guest did not use it the way the tub looked. Also, the wash clothes had holes in them. The coffee machine did not work right; the juice was watered down. No comp computer. Shared parking lot so the second morning one of the businesses left a note. The staff hardly spoke when spoken to. I will say this, the shower had hot water and the ice was cold. Mankato was busy this week but $***a night for a Microtel was on the high end of the scale, especially with the problems.
