Best Western Hotel Trollhattan

As an IT and cybersecurity professional, I am traveling around the world for business, and this was easily one of my best hotel experiences. I was in town to manage the security and IT systems for a nearby property and business management and chose this hotel for its perfect central location. The convenience of being in the heart of the city made my commute effortless. The hospitality was truly impressive. The breakfast was fantastic, but the highlight was the evening meal; the hotel invites guests to dinner featuring excellent, fresh-baked bread served in a traditional Swedish style. It felt very welcoming after a long day of work. However, I did encounter one significant drawback. Given my line of work, high-speed internet is essential, but the hotel Wi-Fi struggled to reach even 1 Mbit/s for uploads or downloads. This made it impossible to perform my professional duties on their network, so I had to rely entirely on my personal hotspot. Despite the connectivity issues, the service and atmosphere were top-notch. I would definitely stay here again, though I’d advise fellow tech professionals to bring their own data plan. If you are one of the hotel staff in charge and read this, why not contacting me to come there and repair and fix the issues with your network and Wi-Fi :-)

Perfect location and very friendly staff. Nothing about these rooms are exclusive, it’s absolutely okay for a couple of nights but the bed is really soft and probably been used for a very long time. It’s obvious that it’s a really cheap one. The nightstands are literally just chopped up logs. The shower is really small with one of those shower curtains that get stuck on you, the biggest problem was that the water sprayed outside of the divider on the floor that was glued to it so all the water outside just stayed there for the whole stay. Nothing to wipe it up with so when we went to the toilet our feet got wet. The breakfast wasn’t good at all, the hard boiled eggs were green, the scrambled was black and burnt, that was a first… the ginger shots was basically orange juice. Didn’t go back the second day. I don’t think this hotel cares about facilitating their guests at all. We’re choosing another hotel the next time we visit.

Quality hotel, friendly staff, clean room, good breakfast. My family was in Trollhattan to visit Saab museum and I was very pleased to see few Saab posters in the hotel lobby. I would recommend this hotel.
