This is a beautiful little hotel and I was very comfortable and the staff were helpful and friendly. But this isn't a 4 star hotel. It's a very good 3 star. There just aren't the amenities you would have expect for a hotel in the 4 star range

The Owner was the sweetest! So friendly and so kind. Mostly spoke Spanish but was able to communicate in English as well. Breakfast was included and was fresh and delicious. The rooms were adorable and thoughtful. The area around the property felt safe and quiet and was walkable to the Mercado and coffee shops.

Receptionist was never at the front desk, despite ringing the bell. There was mold on the ceiling of my room. The walls are made of paper so you can hear guests come in and out and whatever is happening on the streets.
Otherwise, bed was comfy, wifi was strong and shower had hot water.
