Beautiful place and larger than normal rooms , We did not realize that this hotel is literally 100 feet off the main train station and with working air condition, we tried to sleep with the windows open . Our bed shook all night long and not in a good way . Great location and views but no sleep

Beautiful older hotel, renovated to today’s standards. Breakfast staff and front desk were so helpful, kind and willing to answer any questions. We were taking a train to Milan for the day so picked the hotel because of close proximity to station. Literally a 3-5 minute walk. However, we had a lake view room with balcony and the trains, of course, were very noisy at night - thank goodness for double pained windows and an air conditioner.

Two suggestions: better install a fence where the internal road makes the curve at the height of the entrance of the second building ( if a car does not see it, it finishes down a 1 mt wall). Add a sheet connecting the two single mattress . Service is very nice and breakfast rich and served in an adorable veranda
