    Our group was in town for a convention and chose to stay at this property with close access to the convention center. We couldn't have been more disappointed. The room conditions were spartan at best, but the entire property is very old and dated, with a heavy musty smell. The HVAC units were old and did not have a thermostat. You could only select AC or heat and the unit could not regulate itself requiring that you manually had to switch on heat if you were cold or AC if you were hot -- this was a pain at night. The "breakfast" was just offensive it was so cheap: cold cereal and milk, or plain bagels or toast. Only margarine, no butter. No juice or even water, but just really awful coffee, powdered creamer. A few of our team tried to sit in the tiny "business center" breakfast area adjacent to the check-in desk and the owner soon began berating them for using their phones and not being silent -- literally recording the confrontation with her phone and threatening to evict them! We recommend avoiding this property.

    Motel wasn't the cheapest so I thought we would get something decent for the price. Unfortunately I was wrong. Luckily it was just my teenage son and I, so we got by. My wife and daughters wouldn't have stayed there. Beds appeared clean, but were very firm. It was best to keep shoes on when walking on the carpet and bathroom area. There were a bunch of dead ants and hair on the bathroom floor and tub. The walls and grout areas in the bathroom desperately need to be wiped down as you could see the layer of dirt and grunge on them. TV worked fine, water was hot and the AC seemed functional. Overall it beat sleeping in the truck, but will avoid this "hotel" in the future.
