We stayed here for the specific purpose of watching the fireworks on the roof and it was exactly what we wanted. This is a great spot to see the celebration but the day view is nice also. We drove a SUV and I am used to driving here so it was easy for me but if your not used to it or good confident driver in tight spaces I can see where it might be difficult. Smaller the car the easier it will be if your here renting a vehicle. Finding the place was easy and you just press a button on the gate and they let you in. The rooms were fine for me it was what i expected an older building but still nice. Stairs to get you downtown are very close by and its not a bad walk assuming your ok with stairs and a hill and Italian roads. My 4 year old did it so its not a bad walk, it went by quick for us and its nice to see the real city outside the downtown area, how people actually live. Didn't eat at the restaurant but it was busy probably because it was new years eve. Staff were nice and spoke English as well.

Hotel is bit old but rooms are big and clean. Placed on a hill, close to downtown by foot (mind lot of stairs on the way back). Driving bit challenging due to narrow streets on the way.

Remote location on CappdimonteQuiet and well-kept location in Capodimonte, though a bit far from the city center. Planes fly over during the day but not at night, which was not disturbing for me. The surroundings are tidy, the staff is friendly, and housekeeping does an excellent job. The hotel is somewhat dated and could use renovation, but overall a pleasant stay.
