Fantastic hotel, with very friendly and helpful staff. Henri on reception went beyond the call of duty with his offer to give us a lift in the golf-buggy in the pouring rain. Our room was delightful; comfortable and clean, with a lovely view of the courtyard with its resident peacocks. The endless supply of delicious food and drink at breakfast and cakes and drinks throughout the afternoon and evening was a great source of pleasure to come back to. We would definitely recommend the hotel to others.

Exceptional service, idillic location, delicious breakfast with wide selection. Quaint court yard where i witnessed 13 peacocks perched in the morning. Great restaurants all around and castle next door a must visit. Cant wait to return

Great location in the old part of town next to the castle and it's surprisingly quiet. There is a lovely courtyard where you can have breakfast if you wish, or simply enjoy the environment. The staff are very friendly and helpful and tea, coffee and water on hand 24/7. There is also a well stocked honesty bar.
Whilst there is no restaurant they are some great restaurants nearby for lunch and evening meals.
