This lovely little area of Castelvetro was a pleasure to stay in! The Locanda rooms were spacious and had nice amenities for coffee and tea. The living area was a nice addition to our space with lively decor. The toilet area is small but well appointed. If you want a romantic dinner reserve a table in the wine cellar. The hosts were fantastic! We should have stayed longer.
One note: This is a castle village, the street is narrow but drivable. If you arrive by car, there is a large grove of trees where you can park. Then walk up the cobblestone road and the guesthouse on the corner of the 2nd left.

Went out of the way to ensure we had a pleasant stay. We were traveling by local bus; the bus service is poor on Sunday; so the owner offered us a ride into Modena (he had other chores there). Could not be more pleasant.
