    This is a refurbished cloister, a real historic building. It’s beautiful and the renovation has been done with good taste and high quality. Our room was large, well equipped and the huge bed was very comfortable. The only issue is that it’s a huge place and there are only 20 rooms. So we felt a bit lonely in a big empty space. We assume that most of the activity is event-related.

    Had an enjoyable 2 night stay in a suite in this beautiful building. Lovely interiors, spacious suite with a comfortable bed. The staff were excellent. Even though there was an event the first night and a big wedding the second night no noise could be heard. We booked the hotel so we could have dinner each night in the Michelin rated onsite restaurant however we were informed on arrival the restaurant was closed on both Friday and Saturday night which was disappointing and should have been advised when we booked, also the hotel is used extensively for weddings and events however this did not interfere with our stay. The building, standard of the suite and staff really provide a 5 star experience.

    The staff was helpful and kind. The location is great for exploring the region, I would definitely recommend having a rental car if you book here. There’s not much to walk to, but street parking is readily available and getting in and out of town was easy. I would recommend walking to the old city on weekends, but finding parking during the week was easy. The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful and the restaurant is Michelin-rated and will likely have a star in the next year.
