Everyone was nice and the man at the bar was great! We even bought one of his crafted lamps.
The only issue was on the first night, after a lot of travel, the shower ran out of hot water. It was back on the next night but that was not fun.

We had the best stay at Moiwa lodge and when we come back (not if) would not consider staying anywhere else. The staff were fantastic, the rooms were perfectly warm and cozy and it felt like coming home each day after an adventure. The staff were also very helpful in recommending local attractions such as onsens and what resort would be best to ski each day.
