I loved this villa but understand the villa is like a time capsule. It's all early 1900,s. If you like modern it's not for you. If you like period and a true Havana experience this is the place. The staff were all incredible. Would I return. In a heartbeat definitely yes.

Wonderful and luxurious accommodation in the suburbs of Havana. We stayed in the room on the rooftop and it felt like we were royalty. The Villa is incredibly grand and lovingly restored with a generous breakfast beside the lovely swimming pool where we spent many hours during the heat of the afternoon on the banana lounges. Great restaurant nearby at Casa Hernandez. Lovely stay - highly recommend for something unique and special.

What an amazing hotel in a mixed suburban area (which was very safe) . The hotel is a wonderful old building with many interesting artefacts, a museum in effect. The room was clean and spacious with a high ceiling and a modern bathroom. The hotel had a delightful pool area, perfect for relaxing on our final day in Havana, only 20 minutes to the airport. The outside area a beautiful garden and a great set up for a delicious breakfast at only $8 each. There were great roof terraces with amazing panoramic views of the whole city. The hotel were kind enough to allow us to keep our room on until we left later in the evening for our flight, at no extra cost. There was a great restaurant just three blocks away, called...... Which served great food, at a reasonable cost, with nice cold draft beer and excellent views and service.
The hosts at the hotel were friendly, welcoming and helpful. We would recommend a stay if you fancy a change from the busy city.
