    Good resort type hotel located about 15 mins walk to the centre. It’s just that the walk back to hotel is a good uphill (600m) walk which is not for everyone. Inside the hotel, rooms are ok, a bit dated. Hotel has a swimming pool and ping pong table. No complaints about the hotel, but next time, I would rather explore some other hotel (if u come to Lillehammer).

    Good hotel with great spa (payable ) on the outskirts of town. We booked twin room, but got double and had to be downgraded to get a single bed. The restaurant was closed for meals and they hadn’t notified us. There was a limited bar menu, but very small choice. This wasn’t very convenient as we had planned to dine for dinners. They did allow us to by our own food and eat in seated area. They had no information on what to do in the area, which would of been helpful.

    Overall the hotel was fine, simple rooms and fair price. However, the waiter in the main restaurant desperately needs customr servixe training. For starters, he made evry guest (includibmng us - party of 4) entering the restaurant wait outside 'to be seated' despite a completely empty restaurant. We sat there for a good 15 mins before he bothered to 'seat us'. We then watched as thus kept repeating itself with every other guest wanting to visit the restaurant. Very uncomfortable and completely unprofessional - surely there must have been lots of similar conplaints/comments on this individual. Food was good so really a bizarre issue to have with a restaurant (I have previously never seen anything like this). Resr of hotel staff seemed fine and overall, the hotel is ok, but would definitely not stay nor recommend this property until hotel does something about this
