    While the hotel and the room itself were initially quite good, the actual stay was extremely annoying. It was frustrating to find houseflies buzzing around inside the room, which was accompanied by a highly pungent, ammonia-like odor. Maintenance is clearly lacking—the water jet pipe attached to the toilet seat was damaged, and the Wi-Fi barely worked. The service was also incredibly unprofessional. In the evening, the hotel staff knocked on the door so loudly and aggressively, lacking basic hospitality etiquette. I understand this might just be the norm for cities like Ambala or Kurukshetra (as even options like Regenta hotels suffer from similar issues), but it shouldn't be acceptable. Furthermore, the toiletries provided were of abysmal, third-rate quality. The shampoo and body wash were extremely cheap, and the moisturizer had a foul smell that literally smelled like dead bugs. It seems the parameters for what constitutes a "4-star hotel" in India are completely out of touch with reality.

    The physical infrastructure of the hotel and the room were generally fine, but the experience was completely ruined by poor management. Here is a breakdown of my stay: Cleanliness & Odor: Having houseflies inside a hotel room is highly annoying and unacceptable. On top of that, there was a pungent, ammonia-like smell lingering in the room. Maintenance & Tech: The water jet pipe in the bathroom was broken, and the Wi-Fi simply did not work properly. Staff Behavior: The staff lacked basic training. In the evening, they knocked on my door extremely loudly and unprofessionally. I know this is somewhat common in cities like Ambala and Kurukshetra (even in places like Regenta), but it's still frustrating. Cheap Toiletries: The shampoo and shower gel were of third-rate quality. To make matters worse, the moisturizer smelled absolutely awful—like dead bugs. Overall, I'm highly disappointed. It feels like the standards for a 4-star hotel in India are completely meaningless at this point.
