This is an absolutely beautiful property! All of the staff that we came into contact were extremely nice and helpful. We ate at Cascade, and the food was delicious, and service was also wonderful! Our room was extremely quiet! We were concerned at first because our room was right as you came off the elevator. The only complaint we had about our room was the bed. They aren't comfortable and only a double, if you're an adult, you and your partner can't help but disrupt the other if you move. They are also hard, as are the pillows. The beds with the slightest movement, it sounds like plastic being crumbled. Anytime anyone moved during the night, the noise woke us up. The only other complaint was the amount of unsupervised small children 3-10 just running around. A child probably 5, came into the elevator as we entered, no adults in sight. This same child we later saw walking around with their shirt half off at 9:30pm. Around 10, someone reported to the front desk this child was in the parking lot just walking alone. In the common area, there were several children 5-8 playing on and around the fireplace. We couldn't sit down because of them. One of the children kept touching the latern decorations and almost knocked it off the stoop a few times. The parents were there, they just weren't paying attention. Going back up to our room, there was a group of about 8 kids 3-10ish running through the halls. They had been going on the elevator to all levels doing this.

Loved this lodge! Beds were super comfy. Hiking trails were beautiful. Views were gorgeous. The grounds were so peaceful. There were a lot of families and kids who all seemed to be having fun. The only thing I didn’t love was the breakfast Buffett. It was $20 a person and there was I my eggs, potatoes and meat. Very limited for that price. Other than that this was one of my favorite places we stayed on our trip down the Oregon coast and we’ll definitely be back again.

This is a beautiful place! My husband and I enjoyed hiking two different loops, played frisbee golf, and lounged by the big fire pits outside. We enjoyed food from both the restaurants. The room itself was so cozy - nice fireplace and great view! The staff were all super nice. We’re already talking about a return visit.

The room wasn’t special, save a lot of money and stay at a place in Hood River. They charge you a resort fee of $45 for coffee, access to the hot tub, and parking.

I paid for an upgraded room with a larger view of the river and a fireplace, the room was clean and had a very comfortable bed. I do think it was overpriced for the room, but the grounds were very nice and I loved the trails around the golf course. Food was just ok at their restaurant (and sampled quite a bit). I expected better for spending over $200 for dinner for two people. Spa needs a revamp as well but overall a nice weekend and the people that work there are very kind and helpful.

Not as expected. Had to make reservations before arrival for everything. Ended up eating off property. Spa was good the minute we registered and not available until we left. All restaurants were booked. Disappointing for the amount we spent to stay there.

We got there late, there were no restaurants open or room service. There is nothing nearby for food. We walked in the room and there is a dirty smell , like the bathroom and rugs were dirty. It kinda smelled like sewer. There is no vent in the bathroom. We were really disappointed for the price we paid but we just need a place to sleep for the few hours we were there. The place looks beautiful in the website, but I would not stay there again.

Beautiful lodge with rustic ambiance set on a forested mountain with lovely view of Columbia River Gorge. Room was spacious with very comfortable bed, great shower, nice amenities. Both restaurants had excellent food and service. The indoor pool and jacuzzis were great. I would definitely return.
