The hotel location is perfect, on a lively busy street, with music and cafes and souvenir shops, just a few minutes walk from Marina. The breakfast was good for the price. We stayed for one night the room was spacious, clean, they provided us with extra sheets, and towels. The staff was young, very helpful knew English and was easy to communicate with. The only minor inconvenience was the unavailability of an iron board, the one in the room was broken and they didn’t have an extra available.

We chose this property because it appeared to be an ideal option for our family. Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing from the moment we arrived. We intentionally booked what was advertised as a Triple Room—a spacious 40 m² apartment-style suite with a living area, a large sofa, a balcony, and a separate seating area. We deliberately chose this accommodation instead of a standard hotel room because we were travelling as a family and wanted everyone to be comfortable. However, upon arrival, we were informed that the room was limited to only two adults, despite being marketed as a Triple Room. What made the situation even more confusing was the inconsistent information provided by the hotel itself. * The booking platform advertises the room as a Triple Room, yet also states “Maximum 2 Adults.” * The hotel’s own official website advertises its 40 m² Superior Suites as accommodating up to 3+1 guests, while its Family Suite accommodates up to 5+1 guests. * The hotel’s child policy clearly states that only guests aged 18 and above are considered adults, meaning our children, aged 10 and 12, are not adults according to the property’s own policy. These contradictory descriptions create unnecessary confusion for guests trying to choose the correct accommodation. Before arriving, we even checked the booking price again by entering 2 adults and 2 children (ages 10 and 12) into the reservation system. The total difference compared to booking for only 2 adults was approximately *** (around ***). However, upon arrival, we were unexpectedly told that we needed to pay an additional fee. What made this even more concerning was the way the amount kept changing during the conversation. Initially, we were asked to pay ***. Later, the amount suddenly became ***, and we were then told, “Since you’ve already come all this way, you don’t need to pay ***. Just pay ***.” This gave the impression that the amount was completely arbitrary rather than based on any transparent or established pricing policy. It is extremely difficult for guests to understand how an additional charge can be negotiated from *** to *** and then to*** within a few minutes. Furthermore, it is impossible to reconcile these figures with the booking system, which showed only a *** difference when two children were added to the reservation. If such a significant charge genuinely applies, it should be clearly displayed before payment is completed not introduced and negotiated unexpectedly at check-in. After a lengthy and uncomfortable discussion, the hotel eventually decided not to charge us. While we appreciated not having to pay, this only reinforced our impression that the charge itself was not being applied consistently. Guests should never have to negotiate over unexpected fees that were never transparently communicated during the booking process. Had the occupancy rules and any additional charges been presented clearly and consistently across both the booking platform and the hotel’s own website, we would have made our booking decision accordingly. Instead, we relied on the information provided by the property and were confronted with an unexpected charge only after arriving at the hotel. Our second disappointment concerned the hotel’s visitor policy. During our stay, we simply wanted to visit our family in their room for a short period. We were not asking to stay overnight, nor were we trying to accommodate additional guests in the room. We only wanted to spend some quality time together with our family during our holiday. Instead, we were told that only the guests registered to that room were allowed to enter. We fully respect that every hotel has the right to establish security policies. However, the rule was communicated in a very rigid and unfriendly manner, without any attempt to offer a reasonable solution or show hospitality.
