I enjoyed my stay here very much. It as quiet and removed from the busy tourist areas. Quiet and very comfortable. The coffee station was perfect. Very much a self serve , self check in scenario which I enjoyed but the staff were always responsive and informative on what app when needed. They shared exact details on check in process, parking etc which I appreciated arriving late at night. Overall I would recommend this hotel and stay here again.

Il Chiostro, a former monastery is a 75 euro taxi ride outside Sorrento, at least that is what we were charged. Maria is very helpful and friendly but be aware, there is no bus service to the Relais and it is a 600 metre steep uphill walk from the main road. Impossible if you have luggage. The only practical way to get to Sorrento is by bus walking down and up the hill unless you rent a car or scooter. There are no restaurants in the vicinity although Maria can arrange a free ride to and from a restaurant in Annunziata, a village relatively close by. The rooms are small, the bathroom is good for one person at a time. It is peaceful and quiet, breakfast is adequate but think carefully if this is the right place for you. In the end we were ok but I can’t say this is what we expected.

We had a very pleasant stay at this room. Feel peaceful, quiet and relaxing, making it a perfect place to escape from the busy tourist area.
The transportation can be a little inconvenient, especially if you do not have a car.
Overall, a great choice for travelers looking for a quiet and authentic experience.
