Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Morgan Hill/San Jose Area

The bathroom inside our room was filthy with mold on the ceiling. The desk in our room had huge cracks that could cut if you snagged against it.

I already reviewed this hotel. I’m not doing it again.

Room was in poor condition. Hair dryer didn't work, vanity broken and shifted so that toilet seat wouldn't stay up by itself. Sensor lights throughout that will shut off automatically if you aren't constantly moving around which is EXTREMELY annoying.

Cleanliness and ease of use was not we expected. The first 2 days were difficult due to staff entering into our room without permission, with a do not disrurb sign on outside of door. They tossed our stuff, pulled matresses off and left the room in shambles without our knowledge for about 2-3 hours while we were eating breakfast in their Kitchen!

Floors were sticky Air conditioner was not working Didn’t like whole walls with mirrors, especially now a days safety concerns about hidden cameras especially since we had our grandchildren

Lovely little room. could use a facelift with some of the items in the room and a couple more pillows but cozy. The lady who was yelling at her husband on 3rd floor about how he was being mean. Thanks for making that the hallways drama too.

I stay here when I’m working in the area on the way from home. The staff is very friendly. People are really nice. I will definitely be back.

The staff is always friendly when I stay here. This location is a great place for me to stay at when I am working away from home.

Not that much parking that day

Our room was nothing special , smelled of cigarettes . We opened the window to air it out and there was no screen and a dead fly on the glass . Couches were stained . Bed was hard . Neighbors were noisy

The extra security lock was missing on our door. Other than that everything was good. Had coffee and food options in the morning too.

Looks like foreigners bought the hotel and minimal renovations. Broken florescent lighting like a run down hospital. Toilet handle is nearly impossible to flush because the lever is under the sink. The ad made it look like a college dorm room.

The room had a television that didn't work and had no telephone, tried to find the telephone and couldn't believe there wasn't one. I will not stay there again.

The best part was the grab and go breakfast. Otherwise,it was … eh. Needs repair, floor broken, no microwave and fridge was SMALL. Its conveniently located to the sports park and that the biggest plus

The breakfast was minimal, they did not have utensils for the breakfast items. When I asked the front desk for additional utensils she said we don’t have them. The room smelled of mold and the mold was visible throughout the bathroom. Would never stay here again. Only positive is location due to soccer tournament.

The property is not kept up very well for the price we paid. I rate it a tad better than a motel 6, but at a higher cost. The breakfast was substandard to other hotels.

My stay was was excellent, breakfast was great, internet was great, bed very comfortable, staff was wonderful, 5 stars, I would be happy to stay again.

Room s a bit small . Need to add extra pillows. There is a stale smell when entering the room. This is our 3rd stay , we booked the 1 queen bed room, price is a bit high for the room we paid. Good breakfast choice.

We had a studio. It was good enough space but there was a lot of broken pieces in the room and carpet was dirty. Very thin walls

I liked that they had protein option at breakfast. The bed was comfortable. We were just needing a place to sleep for 2 nights while doing tourist stuff in the area. This hotel was good for that.

The trash cans hadn’t been emptied when I checked in. It was my first time seeing flies when walking into a hotel room.

It was a good stay!

Property in general is a little dated but good. However, the hair blower in the room doesn’t work. And at breakfast, coffee pot ran out of coffee. When I asked the staff when can the fresh pot could be made, the answer was she didn’t know, because she didn’t know how to make a new pot and was waiting for the manager to come in to do so!

Front desk was friendly and fuss free but our bathroom smelled musty like mildew and mold. When I looked under the bathroom sink I saw all the mold underneath. it seems like an extensive issue as the paint was bubbled above the shower also and you can tell it’s been an issue for a while that they’ve painted over. We got there late and only spent the night otherwise I would have asked for a different room though I’m not sure it would’ve changed much. Hotel is pretty run down.

I want to express my disappointment with your Hotel in Morganhill room 120. We checked in this afternoon (6/27/25 through 6/28/25), we were here at our Archery tournament in Gilroy for 2 days. Upon entering the room, we found several things that needed attention. 1.  The desk table veneer on the front side looks like it was gnawed on it. 2.  Window bench seat wood chips out in the middle (half-dollar size ) 3. Underneath the window bench on the right side is a storage space, with no door or drawers present, also exposing wire in the back, along with insulation shown. 4.  Bathroom…  The shampoo dispenser on the counter is not mounted on the wall. The holder must have been broken, thereby showing two holes on the wall. The shower had no stopper.  The shower ceiling has what looks like black mold.  Looks like they tried to paint over it.  It was frightening to see it while taking a shower. This black mold was also around the shower tub on the floor. The exhaust fan is loud and just hanging from the ceiling. The Tissue box is barely hanging onto the wall. 5. The entry door is missing the interior door lock. Your hotel does not meet the standards presented on the website page. Very disappointed! Would I recommend this place to anyone? No
