Right across from a huge mall with numerous restaurants. The staff was fantastic, and had lots if suggestions for 1st time travelers to Uruguay.
Note: Uses are hiw you travel in Uruguay, not trains, and there is a massively convenient major travel bus terminal in the lower level of the mall across the street. We went way North in Brazil (to Rivera) by bus from Montevideo, and we just walked 1 block to the mall/bus station from our hotel. Incredibly convenient. HThis hotel is highly recommended -- just avoid the Sbarros restaurant in the mall -- the employees are negligent and very unpleasant. But the other restaurants in the mall are mostly good quality, and the mall grocery store is excellent and very convenient for travelers.

It’s convenient and recommendable for the good location, the excellent staff ( the solve everything quickly and efficiently) and the cleanliness of the room and everywhere you look at!
Although it only provides you breakfast ( not lunch or diner) we enjoyed the great variety of this meal, as it includes all sort of fruit as well as ham, cheese , scramble eggs, pork, different types of bread, cake, juice, coffee, tea , milk, yogurt and so on.
Our bedroom was very comfortable particularly the bed.
However, the parkings are quite small, it’s got two, so when the hotel became very crowded they had to move our car to the back one.
Toiletries were a bit scarce.
All in all, and despite these few drawbacks, we truly recommend it!
We had a very nice stay and thinking of coming back.
