Daysy Hill Country Cottages

Very comfortable stay!

Charming place to stay on the outskirts of Port Campbell, far enough town you can easily see the stars at night, close enough it’s barely a three minute drive. Plenty of parking, units have lots of rustic charm, and are spacious and comfortable. You won’t mistake this for a luxury hotel, but everything is comfortable and super well taken care of. In-room kitchenettes in the “cottages” are a much appreciated touch as well.

The unit was clean and presentable, nice and quite and lovely outlook in the morning. Very warm with heating and was great to use a washing machine and huge dryer to help with our travels. Well equiped inside and was not far from town. Host was very accommodating

Our Daysy Hill Cottages one-night stay in a spa suite was delightful. Reception was smooth and the lady operating it was thoughtful in the advice and suggestions she gave us about where to eat and what to do during our short stay. The suite was clean and the gas fireplace heated the room beautifully. The amenities were perfect and would also be adequate for a much longer stay. The view from our suite looked out over the valley making the outside verandah a lovely place to relax with a beverage and take in the surroundings. This stay was our favourite on our 5 night Great Ocean Road trip and we wished we had booked 2 nights. I would say also that while Port Campbell is tiny it was quaint and appealing. The town was clean and fresh in appearance and offered a good array of dining options. It was a good location from which to travel to see many key highlights of the Great Ocean Road drive.
