The Windsor Suites

Great central location. Safe area. Close to subway and buses. We will definitely stay there again. Every other room has a balcony. So if you want one, ask for it. I thought we were going to get one but we didn't next time I will defintely request it. If you need anything during your stay for your kitchen, you can request it. Everyone was so nice and helpful, esp Katherine! Very happy with our stay.

Location was really great . Staff were nice , specially Catheline. She is one of the best. So helpful and make sure that every thing is ok . So friendly, polite honesty I think she is an asset to Windsor hotel .

We, 3 people, comfortably stayed in a one bedroom with a balcony. It was huge! The room had 3 walk in closets, large living room, dining room table, and a nice sized kitchen. The room is old and a bit run down, they are currently remodeling. The bathroom is small and the toilet had a constant dripping sound. The location is exceptional! We saw all of the major sites in Philadelphia and only had to take an uber one time. The pool was closed (March), but the rooftop was open for views of the city. The balcony was large and had great city views. The negative about facing the Main Street is the noise, especially when there are sirens going off. The staff was responsive, bringing extra towels. We even got a late check out! Note, the property is under construction which did not overly affect our stay. The lower levels are not welcoming and inviting, and the elevators can be slow. The elevator waiting area is right next to a large 2 story bar which was very loud. People from the bar take the elevator along with hotel guests. One night right before midnight, the fire alarm went off. We had to change into warm clothes (it was 30 degrees outside), and take the stairs down 12 floors. The all clear took about 25 minutes. Luckily, we were all able to take the stairs back up 12 flights because the elevator line was long and people were out in the cold. Besides the fire alarm going off, our stay was nice!

I arrived to a cool (57°F) room and the temps outside were the same. I turned up the heat and left for about 3 hours. Upon return, the temp was barely 60°. Phoned the front desk. The response: " (it takes a long time for the heat to rise on the upper floors". HUH??!! I had to insist a space heater and extra blankets were delivered to my room. Gee whiz! I believe my room rate should be discounted as a result, but of course, no offer was made.
