    Hotel facilities are great. Had a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment for family of 5 with 3 young kids + 2 adults. Bigger room had a double bed and bunk bed, other room had an unsuited. However beds are super hard! Location is easy access to train station and shops.

    Mimaru Tokyo Ikebukuro is located conveniently 8 minutes walk from the west gate of Ikebukuro JR station. We stayed in a 1-bedroom loft bed apartment, which provides a king size bunk bed for 4 people to sleep comfortably in and also creates more space in the living room and hallway for bags and luggage.

    Location is close to JR, Tobu-Tojo line. Shopping nearby Tobu, Seibu. The downside, it’s close to nightlife ladies bar, hourly rate motels. However, there’s 24hrs pharmacy that carries a lot of skincare and cosmetics. There’s always a lot of people in the hotel lobby, corridors to the room is open (outdoor). Inside the room feels clean, tatami style but with thick mattress.
