Chalet Hôtel le Prieuré & Spa

Exceeded our expectations. The staff was so kind and extremely helpful. Our room was just as described. It was clean, spacious,queen bed, very comfy! We had a balcony with the most spectacular view of the mountains. Great location, wonderful amenities. We will definitely stay again when we come back.This hotel made our stay in Chamonix, perfect!

Excellent stay. The room view was superb and with good amenities, the breakfast was great, and the staff was lovely. The spa was a nice touch after skiing sessions and required bookings in advance which was not a problem if done in advance. Jorge of reception staff was amazing with great recommendations for day trips and advice. My only point for improvement is the quality of the toilet paper which is subpar for this stay's pricepoint. Otherwise, everything was excellent.

The hotel worked great for two older guy friends skiing for a week. The thumbs up go to the excellent location, good clean rooms (very clean), helpful staff and convenience of an attached ski shop. The buffet breakfast was OK, but nothing to write home about. If you really care about a pool, sauna or hot tub this isn't the best choice. The spa area is small, and includes a steam room, pool and a two person home style hot tub with luke warm water. You have to book time to visit the spa area in advance because of its small size. Again, the hotel worked really well for us and we liked it, but had the spa area been better we would have been much happier. I suggest they dump the hot tub and install in a sauna. That would turn a negative into a positive even if it's a relatively small sauna. Just a thought as we do like the hotel, and it's only needing the spa to be upgraded to be much better.

What a wonderful stay in an extremely nice hotel and in such a great location. Really impressive. I highly recommend it. The only downside was that on-site parking was expensive and the spots were tiny in a concrete garage.
