About 10 min walk to Piazza Bra and the Arena and another 10 min walk to Juliette’s House and the letter wall. Great shops along the way and many restaurants to choose from. The hotel is a little older, but well kept. An annoying shower head but not a big seal. Large assortment at breakfast. Overall we thought it was good value, not a long walk to the center. Taxi from train station was 12 euro but it was 16 to get back to the station. It’s close enough to walk, but it was 33 degrees and sunny and we didn’t want to haul our luggage!

Stay away! This hotel is close to the city, estimated 20 minutes walk to the Arena which is OK. It is however lying alone surrounded by abandoned industrial buildings, really not a romantic og athentic location! We did not feel safe in this area. The cleaning was absolutely unacceptable! The first room we got had a hair ball on the ceiling in the bathroom as the size of a tennis ball, when informing the reception they said they would extra clean the bathroom, after several hours they said they did it, still it was not cleaned. The second room they offered was same bad shape, the drain in the shower was so blocked that no water came out, instead it was full of strangers hair. Really nasty!! Dont be blinded by the nice photos, it is totally worn out and has not been renovated for 50+ years. It is outdated, very worn, it is like stepping into the 60’s and it hasnt been painted since. I am very grateful that we only have a single night here. Not worth the money.

Overall good experience. Very good VFM. Hotel and room clean and spacious. Comfy bed, bathroom all good. Staff and breakfast good. Only negative was air conditioning leaked water into wardrobe, moved clothes into adjoining wardrobe so no real problem. The hotel is quite dated but has charm and is clean and comfortable. Was dubious before my arrival but was very pleasantly surprised. 15 minute flat walk to centre of Verona and 5/10 minutes to train and bus station. Very busy roads to cross though.

4 Star hotel that needs some love. The good: - Spacious room. - Friendly staff. - Good breakfast. - Great AC. - Close to the railway station. The bad: - Mold in the bathroom & unpleasant smell from it. - Might have been a water leak in the room in the past, roof/walls in the room's "hallway" showing signs of it. - Desk was filthy underneath the glass pane. - Curtains were badly stained, lampshades less so but still notisably big stains (saw this on a Google review that was a few months old too from the same room, so clearly not a new thing). Other: - No power outlets near bed (and only found one free outlet), so extension cord might be useful. - Wifi is sub-par at best and could really use some coverage overhaul. - If you're a light sleeper/sensitive to noise (I'm not thankfully) then bring some earplugs in case you get a room facing the busy road outside, as the isolation isn't quite able to handle it. In total it feels like a hotel that's stuck in it's 90's glory days, where relatively minor upgrades of modern comforts and a deep clean (especially of the bathroom) could make for an easy way to bump up the quality once more.

Positives were it was close to the train station. Breakfast was reasonable. Challenges were bed was uncomfortable, mosquitoes in the room, the shower had a pillar obstructing full access so the shower door could only be part opened to access. So you had to squeeze in to get in and out. This was not noticeable until the morning of the stay when the shower was required.

This hotel was close to the train station and only a short walk to the centre of Verona. The rooms are large and spacious but tired and could do with a make over. Walls had marks on them and the curtains had stains and slight rips on them. The bathroom was clean but again water damage on the bottom of the door was off putting. Apart from that the staff at the hotel were friendly, welcoming and helpful. I would stay again due to the location.

The hotel is in a good location not too far from city centre however there is not much close by. I ate in bar one evening and the food was average. The rooms whilst comfortable and clean were quite dated. Whilst the hotel has a 4 star rating i didnt feel that the headboard and base of the bed in my room upheld this rating.

The hotel has a feeling of old grandeur, which was lovely. The rooms are nice with very comfortable beds. It’s not in the town but the walk into town is easy and takes about 15 minutes.

Upon arrival we were faced with a rather brusk and rude front desk clerk named Sara. Very heavy accent and difficult to understand. The lobby itself was dingy and the seating was dirty. Some of the staff seemed as though they didn’t want to be there. The room was adequate in size but the sheets on the bed were too short and uncomfortable. The shower was impossible to switch back and forth from overhead to spray. There was mold in the bathroom and the grout was dirty. Breakfast was ok but charging extra for an omelette was ridiculous. Limited security. Very surprised the back door was always unlocked with no key entry. Overall, very disappointing . Drapes were also dirty. Faucets were leaking. This place needs a major overhaul. We will not return nor recommend. The only positive was the location and the lady at breakfast who was delightful.

Although the hotel looks decent in the pictures , it is nothing like that. Our bathroom had mold in the shower and around the shower door and on the floor by the tub. The sink drain and tub drain did not work. Wehad trouble turning the transfer valve from tub to shower The reception staff waa rude especially Sara. At 7pm we asked for maintenance and were told they had no one . We then asked to speak to a manager and were told there was none on premises. I also asked to speak to a manager the morning we left and again waa told there wasnt one on duty.Literally a horrible experience.

The hotel is very nice overall — clean, comfortable, and with a pleasant atmosphere, though it does feel a bit dated in terms of decor and facilities. The room was tidy, and the bed was fine, but the pillows were quite old and not very comfortable. They did offer other pillow options, but only for an additional fee of €3, which felt a bit unnecessary. Breakfast was very good in terms of quality, but somewhat limited for vegetarians. Some items commonly included in hotel breakfasts (like plant-based alternatives or hot vegetarian options) were only available for an extra charge — up to €11. My main disappointment was the location. The hotel is quite far from any kind of public transportation. If you plan to go anywhere, you’ll most likely need to take a taxi, which adds up quickly and makes the stay less convenient.

This is a terribly dated and worn hotel. The photos must be years old. The bed had splits in it the shower door was very unclean the toilet didn’t flush. The aircon went off when you went out (34degrees outside). I have never stayed anywhere this bad
