About this cottage rental

Just a short distance from the lake, this smoke-free cottage lets you experience it all. Jump into your car and make short work of the 8-minute drive to Coastlands Shoppingtown or the 8-minute drive to Putangirua Pinnacles (and enjoy the property's convenient onsite parking in the meantime).

After you return, you can unwind in the rooftop private hot tub or sip a drink in the garden. As for the great indoors, you can come inside and enjoy the free WiFi.

This 1-bedroom, 1-bathroom rental features a Select Comfort bed, premium bedding, Egyptian cotton sheets, and a down comforter. In addition, there's a hydromassage showerhead, along with towels, bathrobes, and soap. Prepare a home-cooked meal in the kitchen, complete with an oven, a stovetop, and a full-sized refrigerator/freezer, as well as a coffee maker, an electric kettle, and a microwave. This is an exceptional property set in a beautiful rural location with exquisite views over landscaped gardens. It is so peaceful that you feel as though you’re miles from anywhere when you’re actually only 2km (a lovely walk!) from the town boundary. The cottage is incredibly well set up with everything you might need and Shona and Tony are fantastic hosts - friendly and helpful, and on hand if you need anything. We booked the cottage at short notice for a quick retreat after a busy week, and we only had two days free, but we would definitely have stayed longer otherwise. The memory of sitting on the lovely wide deck, soaking up the view, breathing in the country air, inhaling the fragrance of the garden and listening to the birdsong (I forgot to mention the host of NZ native birds that grace the gardens!) will sustain us for a long time…and we’ll be back!
