I have a serious problem with shared bathrooms in a hotel. I will not ever consider it again.

Would highly recommend. Smaller rooms with okay bathrooms. Good breakfast. Friendly staff and a great view.

Arrived 2.5 hours prior to check in and was sarcastically told that early check in is $50. That is not the problem, but it is the tone. No recommendations given of perhaps where to go eat or browse. Went to eat lunch, came back 20 minutes prior to check in and he was ok with us getting the room and told us that 'you guys have the best room, 001'. The room at the end of the main floor hallway (across from lobby washroom as well as cleaners room). Sounds echo like crazy like a high school hallway and it is not carpet, so every morning at 8 am the noise levels do not allow you to sleep in. Unfortunately rooms were never cleaned over 3 nights (privacy tab wasn't on). Maybe we need to ask nicely? 2nd last day, manager knocked on our room and alleged that we were smoking in the room. Did not happen, my friend smoked outside. I was so exhausted the last night, I thought we were lucky that there was no noise, but according to my friend there was, I was just that tired that I didn't hear it. I wanted to shower before checkout (it was raining that day), and luckily let the water run a bit, otherwise I would have brown water for breakfast (most likely just a local issue on Reserve land?). So no shower before 5 hour drive back to Toronto. Bring the room keys to the front, and I say checking out for 001. Lady at front says you're good to go and wanted to send us on our way. I ask about the $150 deposit and she quickly said that we were smoking in the room, so the Manager told her that it's not refundable. Would've been common courtesy to say that to me instead of hoping that we walk out, and when we try to deal with it after, never get the money back after not being there in person to address the issue. We were told that the Manager was busy. We pressed and brought up the water issue for 20 minutes and they claimed that they just found out 5 minutes before us. Well I say it would've been nice to tell us that or at least try to before I sprinkle that water on my body, but yet they were swift to send a manager about smoke. Manager Mr Cote finally came out of his office, walked us to the room that had no smoke smell and gracefully returned the deposit. The outside has some nice areas to walk around though. I guess if the room was half of what we paid then perhaps we accept our fate and you get what you paid for. I hope others had a better experience.
