This is a very beautiful place and a great location. It is definitely a place to go if you truly want to relax to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life and enjoy some much needed peace. It is about an 1.5 from Boston. There is very limited options on the resort, so be mindful. It is truly meant for you to relax!! We took the train into Boston and rented a car. There is a regional airport near by for those that want to go there directly. Consider purchasing any drinks or snacks that you may want before going as there is limited items on the resort. There is no elevator. So if you have walking limitation make sure to state that when booking. They do have golf carts driven by staff to assist you with your luggage. Most of the staff are pleasant. Make sure to check rooms and bathrooms for cleanliness. As the bathroom and bunk bed areas had a few issues. If you are on the second floor the vents in the bathrooms have an opening where you can see a light on in the attic. The was definitely a safety concern. As someone could look into the bathroom from up there. This was mention to the staff who had little concerns. It was shared with management who seem to understand better the concerns for safety and privacy. We were told someone only goes up there to change the filters. We had a unit with bunk beds. This can be a challenge for adults with the top bunk if you are full figured. But the beds were comfortable. The air in that area can be stuffy at night as the wall A/C unit doesn't cool in that area of the bunk beds. There was a pocket door to close off the bunk bed area from the main room. the space is small there is no TV on that side. There is a sliding door to the balcony that could be open. But for safety reasons I wouldn't consider it at night for air flow. There is diversity in the staff, but you can tell there aren't many that stay there often. I would possibly consider staying on the resort again. But there are many other options near by as well. There are some local businesses near by consider those for any and all your shopping needs.
