Room was comfortable and clean but was a bit short on maintenance. Mirrored closet door was off its track. Plug-in receptacles were loose and worn--barely held the plug from falling out. Hard to find place with all the construction going on. Signs at road weren't illuminated. Check in was cordial and helpful. Breakfast wasn't anything to brag about.

Overall, the hotel is decent no frills accomodations. Spotlessly clean, quiet. We didn't find out until arriving that there's no elevator, just stairs, so if you're mobility impaired, this is not the place for you. Would I recommend? For a quick stop over, sure, but not for an entire week or vacation.
The A/C works but doesn't cool as quickly or as much as it should. Breakfast was decent, especially at this price point. Waffles, eggs, biscuits, gravy. Mediocre coffee but several coffee shops nearby. Refrigerator and microwave in the room. Cable TV did not work. Hair dryer did not work.
I rated 4 due to cleanliness, which ultimately was the most important thing for me.

The standard in Texas Hospitality. Can't say enough about Mechelle! Arrived with a broken truck. She checked me in, then diagnosed a blown CV axle. Being it was a Friday night I more than likely would have had to wait until Monday to get it fixed. She called in a favor and had my truck running the next day.
Oh yeah, the rooms are nice and the breakfast was better than average.
