The property was beautiful the staff was great and The room was amazing. Close walk to downtown dinning shopping!!

Other than the girl who checked me in, everyone who works in this hotel is rude. It is shocking that this is a five star hotel. I had a negative experience at the Spa. The person who showed me around the spa could not articulate and I couldn’t understand a thing she said. And then I used one of the rooms apparently that you have to pay extra for, this nut stood in the door yelling at me while there were other guests there with her. I asked her to please close the door so I could get up and leave and she proceeded to stand there watching me and never offered for me to add the service. It was absolutely jarring and ruined my time there. In addition in the relaxation area there is mold all over the ceiling. It is so disgusting. Later, I ordered tea in the lobby in the evening and I had to wait 15 or 20 minutes and talk to two different people to get some tea to take to my room. The maid did not restock the tea or the sugar in my room. And when we checked out, we left the keys at the front desk. An hour later, I got a very rude call telling me I had to leave the hotel. I had already left. I am disgusted at the lackluster service especially at this price point. I was treated horribly. These people have some kind of Superiority complex bc they think they’re a five star hotel. Well, they’re Not. I will not be back to this hotel because of their rude staff. There’s plenty of competition in the surrounding area.

My suite was spacious, impeccably clean, and beautifully appointed with classic Italian furnishings, plush bedding that invited deep relaxation, and modern amenities that blended seamlessly with the historic vibe. The marble bathroom was a spa-like retreat, complete with luxurious toiletries and fluffy robes – I could have happily stayed in forever! This is an exquisite hotel with absolute luxury and simply the best breakfast buffet we had in all of Italy. We traveled from Venice to Florence and this hotel was a last splurge. It was worth the high price. The room was beautiful in the newer Bristol tower and the spa was relaxing. The best breakfast buffet with cheery staff made our last day so happy.

Great service, they really take good care of you here. The room was stunningly beautiful. If I ever come back to Florence, Id like to stay here again.

Our Family of fove absolutely loves the property. The staf were genuinely the kindest and most helpful and the hotel was beautiful - we loved our adjoining suite / room for the kids - just perfect! And could not be a better location.

My family and I really enjoyed staying at this hotel. The location was ideal. Rooms were nice and spacious. The shower was excellent. Water pressure was perfect, which is a big deal to me. Loved that drinking water was complimentary considering Italy is so hot in July and that they provided ample amounts each day. The only thing that was a little disappointing was the $150 hotel service tip that was added onto our final bill. The front desk representative did explain that it was completely optional and that it could be removed, but it made me a bit uncomfortable and I felt obligated to leave it on (which I think is their strategy). I don't feel like that is the proper way to earn tips.

We absolutely loved our stay at Helvetia & Bristol! The hotel is beautiful, the location is perfect, and the staff couldn’t have been kinder or more attentive. They really went out of their way to make us feel welcome—and our dog was treated like royalty. He got just as much attention (if not more!) than we did. It’s rare to find a place that’s this elegant and still so down-to-earth and dog-friendly. We’re already looking forward to our next visit!

This historic hotel is sheer opulence. The perfect location! Walking distance to beautiful cafes, bars and restaurants as well as every cultural stop and must see in Florence. The staff are kind and obliging, generous with their time.

I reserved and CONFIRMED by email one room with walking shower because I have a DISABILITIY. On arrival they said that they dont have one, and the only one cost 2.000 euros. After I found the email, they found the room that I have reserved, What kind of company tries to reap off one DISABLE man in front of the whole family. Horrible

Beautiful property, beautifully maintained, wonderful staff. Zero complaints with my stay here. Definitely will be returning. Perfect location in Central Florence as well. Very easy to access anything and everything you’d want to see.

A true 5 class property

Everything here is next level top of the line! From the staff to the gorgeous rooms, spa with Roman bath, and the restaurant and bar. I would absolutely stay here again and can’t wait to go back!

We had a glorious stay. The staff are very friendly and made us feel at home. The guest room was opulent and well appointed. I can’t wait to go back!

Enjoyed our stay here. Staff was really good and the area is fantastic. Room had skylights but sadly no windows.
