We paid extra for a water view king from type and was put at the end of the corridor on ground floor with no view and a balcony that smelt of sewage. Staff not helpful and said hotel full so no chance of moving. After a 10 hour flight would not recommend

Arriving at hotel after a 9hr flight to be told that our room on the 3rd floor did not have an elevator working was the start of a 1st night fiasco. The room itself was OK, if you didn't mind a constant jet engine noise. On going down to complain, the reception staff basically nodded their heads and did nothing to help. One receptionist chewing gum constantly just blanked us. On asking to see the manager it took 4 attempts and 1hr of waiting. Once he came out he just stonewalled us and indicated that nothing could be done as the hotel was full. After a sleepless night we managed to get a room change but the damage was done as we were shattered the whole day. From very poor customer service to a tired hotel ...at £*** a night, this was a shambolic effort at being a quality hotel. Only its location close to yhe cruise terminal makes it sensible to stay here. Otherwise, give it a miss!

We spent one night at the Hilton before boarding our cruise. Upon return from our cruise, we did a day pass with a room so that we could enjoy one more day in the sun and be able to freshen up before our flight at night. We were very happy to be so conveniently located to both the airport and the cruise port. This made for a very relaxing vacation start to finish.
