To loud and ratchet. Too many teenagers and questionable people around. The night staff was unprofessional, because they were having private conversations with people they knew even after customers was coming in. First room I was in nasty with writing on the floor. Was able to change the room but it wasn’t any better. Elevator had trash all over the ground. It’s not a place I would take children or families too. But it was affordable.

We always book cheap and cheerful hotels and we know that you get what you pay for but in this case we got more than we bargained for and not in a good way. Firstly we had booked it for the breakfast and the pool. There was no breakfast offered and notices on the dining room door to this effect. When we asked why, we were told they didn't know. Our room had a leak in the toilet so we were moved to another room overlooking the pool. The pool was covered in a black sheet of some sort and covered in trash. When we asked about the pool we were told they didn't have one????? So, we have false advertising in both of these things. The lobbies smelled so bad we couldn't decide which was worse, the filth or the weed. The place felt completely unsafe with undesirables hanging about but it was too late to do anything about it except put in a complaint with the booking agent. It's a real shame because it does have the potential to be a nice hotel. But it needs a good manager, security and a deep, deep clean...... This is also not my experience with other Redroof hotels.
