I stayed with my 12 year old daughter on a visit to Taos in June 2025.
The building/facility would actually be a really cool spot if it were updated a bit. The large Adobe fireplace in the lobby and breakfast area are really cool. And there are some architectural details that are interesting. There's an air hockey table and old school arcade game off the lobby - not sure if either work.
That said, it's dated. The room furnishings, linens, all of it. It really needs a renovation. TV is not smart. Alarm clock randomly buzzed so I had to unplug it. But the room was clean. Mattresses weren't great but they worked.
We paid about ***/night which is low/mid for Taos. You get what you pay for.
The included breakfast was sufficient - pretty standard. But hey - one less meal out.
If you're on a construction job and need a place to crash, this is a good spot. Ice makers, vending machines, and it's an easy walk to a couple restaurants. If you're a family visiting Taos on vacation on a budget, it will get the job done.
