We have stayed here on numerous occasions and it's always clean and comfortable. The staff are helpful and courteous. We did not have breakfast this time. Parking is plentiful and they close the hotel gates at night for extra security. The hotel is convenient for the nearby shopping centre (about a 15-minute walk).

The hotel looks a little tired outside, but it was clean inside, great room, lovely staff and a good location to stop off for returning to the ferry port at Dunkirk. Breakfast was also great.

Pros: IMO the location is ideal for those who have a car - free parking. It is within 15 minutes to Lille and under an hour to places like Dunkerque Calais, Brugge, Lens and many more great towns. There is also an grocery store + mall 5 minutes away Direct access to highway. The beds are comfortable, bathrooms are clean and there is a mini fridge. The staff are always great - willing to help - very positive experience Cons - carpeting is dated and some areas had stains. Building generally looks worn down. Breakfast is mediocre.

Perhaps the outside of the hotel doesn't look modern, the inside is all nice. Rooms are large and the breakfast and dining area are spacious and comfortable. Good number of tables outside plus a swimming pool plus a large garden for guests to enjoy. Staff very friendly and all speak English, but I preferred to practise my French. So, all in all, a very pleasant (business) stay.

The common in this hotel were old, tired, and worn. It was a bit of a let down walking through the hallways as the rugs were stained and buckled. The room itself was clean but average it terms of looks. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful and the breakfast was decent.

It’s not the most chic hotel in the world, but definitely has the important features sorted. The restaurant menu is simple but good and reasonably priced. The breakfast is good value and varied. The staff are lovely, helpful and friendly and a credit to the hotel. A special mention must be given to Gregory on reception in the evening, who went above and beyond . stay in many places in Europe and this is one of my absolute favourites, it’s not top end , but it’s not pretentious either, it’s friendly and comfortable and I an always able to relax when I stay here

We chose this hotel as it purports to offer parking, a restaurant and laundry facilities amongst other things. So, we checked in and asked if we needed to book a table for dinner only to be told “We don’t do meals at the weekend!! But there are places a short drive away.” Right!!! I’m happy to drink and drive!! NOT!! So ok. Where is the laundry?? And the reply was “ we don’t have laundry facilities, but we can offer a laundry service at an exorbitant price during the week - but not at weekends” Holiday Inn?? More like Holiday completely ruined.
