    This hotel has undergone a wonderful renovation! We stayed on the 8 th floor and our room was beautiful, the bed very comfortable and the room was very clean.

    We stayed here for one night while driving from Big Sky with my toddler and were hoping for a simple, comfortable stop to bathe my child and get some rest after a long day of travel. Unfortunately several aspects of the stay were disappointing. The hotel was extremely busy due to multiple events including monster truck shows, dance competitions and sporting events, which made parking very difficult. At check-in we were told overflow parking was available elsewhere, but because of the uncertainty we ended up unloading our entire vehicle. We also specifically asked whether the room had a bathtub (as I needed to bathe my toddler) and was assured it did. After arriving in the room we discovered it only had a shower. When we called the front desk we were later told that they had been told the upper level rooms had bathtubs. Later in the evening there was significant hallway noise with children running and yelling between floors. When we contacted the front desk we were informed that quiet hours begin at 10pm. While that may be policy, the level of noise around 9:30pm made it difficult to settle a toddler for the night. There were also several room maintenance and cleanliness issues which were concerning. The shower floor did not appear properly cleaned, the connecting door between rooms was visibly damaged, and the cabinet door covering the mini-fridge would not close properly and remained partially open. With a toddler in the room this created a small safety concern. Photos were taken of these issues. None of these concerns individually are catastrophic, but together they created the impression that the property may be struggling to maintain room standards during busy event periods. With clearer communication at check-in, stronger room inspection procedures, and improved maintenance follow-up, the guest experience here could be significantly improved.
