Stayed for the weekend to enjoy the city and shopping! Cons: -Rooms may be smaller than expected but they have everything you need -Sink in bathroom was leaking -Items around room looked worn like they will need replaced soon -Parking: the lots they suggest are a bit of a walk (which is difficult with any luggage). Valet is the other option, which is nice but a little pricy.

I’ve been a loyal guest at this location since 2016 and was generally quite happy until the past few years. Since the pandemic, the hotel has become noticeably dingier and more run-down, and amenities like microwaves and refrigerators now appear to be paid upgrades rather than standard features. Each post-pandemic visit has brought a new, minor disappointment that has added up over time. This stay was especially impacted by extremely poor WiFi performance. Over a five-day business trip, download speeds averaged no more than 5 Mbps, making it impossible to complete any serious work. When raised with the front desk, the issue was dismissed because “no one else has said anything,” and no effort was made to investigate or resolve it. Unfortunately, I’ll likely begin looking for another hotel for my annual stay.

They have removed all breakfast items, which we were unaware of. the rooms were clean and the staff was helpful. We asked for extra towels and they came quickly. The room heater was having issues and the maintenance came up and fixed within 5 minutes - he was friendly and had no issues after that... very pleased except for the breakfast.

My room was freezing..i had heat at 75 It did nothing. Remote for tv didnt work until this morning. Shower water was luke warm ..it didn't get hot at all.

"Service was fine — the staff did their best. Unfortunately, the building itself looks like it’s auditioning for a role in a post-apocalyptic movie. Crumbling walls, questionable cleanliness, and the vibe continues right into the room. Honestly, calling this place a hotel feels generous; it’s more of a motel wearing a hotel nametag. Do yourself a favor: spend the extra $30 a night and upgrade to a place where you won’t wonder if the ceiling will collapse during your stay."

Clean room with a great view, very kind staff, and next to an amazing bakery! Extra points for being near public transportation: we took the metro from the airport to the hotel, and the bus line to the convention center is just around the corner. This is a great option at a relatively reasonable price!

The one air conditioner heater was broke blowing cold in constantly. The bathroom floors were sticky. Refrigerator was in the wrong cabinet. Move the tv and refrigerator to the window area for more room. Clean under everything. The employees were wonderful. The location was great for the Bears game.

I had an awesome stay! They allowed me to check-in early for free, because I had to rush for a conference, and were super quick in responding, when I needed something. Also, there is a Paris Baguette right next to it and they give you a 10% discount for staying at the hotel. Overall, perfect place to stay!

Upon entering the hotel, staff was very friendly :). The hotel is located around a couple amazing brunch places and near grant park aswell. The room was very clean and provided the usual amenities. Would definitely recommend and come back if I’m ever around chicago again :)

No breakfast only coffee in lobby. Rooms are loud as single pane windows allow noise in from street and trains. Peeling ceiling over shower but rest of room and bath were clean. Daily Housekeeping. Nearby restuarants and a couple blocks from Roosevelt train station.

The room was dirty, every cabinet door was broken and there was sharp fiber board hanging off them. Bathroom door was broken. Floors haven't been vacuumed in days if not weeks. Air conditioner/ heater was extremely loud and kept my wife up.
