The room was very outdated. They were doing construction and remodeling that started at 2 AM… it lasted until we checked out at 10:30 AM. The breakfast was awful. There was a roach crawling on the wall and made its way to the ceiling. When I went to check out, there was no one at the front desk. I said hello a couple of times into an open door twice and even went to knock on a closed door. When someone finally came to the front desk, the lady asked if I was extending my stay. I said I was checking out. I told the front desk about the banging, hammering and making noise since 2 AM. They did not apologize or anything. All they said was I’ll take care of it!! Will never stay at this place again if we happen to visit Amarillo in the future…

Needs a lot of cleaning and updating. Breakfast area was to cramp and not appealing. Could not adjust shower head and would only hit the wall. I did not feel secure at all. Need new linen was old and worn out. Had to wait over 10 mins before anyone showed up to check in people.

Friendly service, rooms were very clean, breakfast was good but the overall condition of the room & hotel in general was somewhat shabby (needed paint touch up on the walls, in my room & some minor repairs- there was a slight musty smell until I got the air going to circulate - the grounds were not kept up). However, my BIGGEST COMPLAINT is that although it is listed on the app, there is no airport shuttle service & I ended up paying an additional $60 for an Uber to get me to/from the airport. The information needs to be updated as this was one of the main reasons I selected the hotel.

After taking nearly an hour to check-in to a room that was what I reserved, the staff was dismissive regarding the lack of functioning amenities. I ultimately slept in a room with compromised safely measures because they refused to give me a refund so that I could find a different hotel. They also refused to allow a complimentary late check-out after delaying my check-in. This was an all-around horrible experience. I will never recommend or use this hotel again.

Room needs some attention from electrical sockets, to drywall corner issues, and overall cleanliness. Fresh paint and new generation windows would greatly enhance the acrostics. Oh, all room doors need to be realigned. Attention to detail

Rooms were fine but the exterior was nasty. Outside stairs were falling apart, very rusty, and had to avoid pieces of concrete to get up stairs.

The room was filthy and in disrepair. There was a large hole in the wall and the wall mirror was not even attached to the wall. The dogs were in the room as it is a dog friendly hotel, And they kept trying to go into the hole in the wall since it was accessible from the floor. The sheets already had body fluids stains on them. The bathroom had not been cleaned. It was also a foul odor in the room . There were three other people, whom we don't know, who had checked in at the same time and then turned around and said that they were no longer staying there for the same reasons. The person at the front desk told everyone that they could get a refund but they have to go through their respective third parties. When we contacted the third party to get a refund, they said that the front desk person told them that they had to email the manager. The manager in turn declined to refund us for our visit that we didn't even do.

The staff was nice but this was a terrible experience overall. I booked this hotel because it was advertised as having an airport shuttle. As I was checking in, after paying, I asked about this and she said they do not have a shuttle and it was too late to cancel and I would get no refund. This alone was very disappointing but then I got to the room which was filthy. The toilet and bath tub were very, very dirty. The ice machine did not work and there was NO hot water. I couldn't afford to book another hotel with no possibility of refund and felt trapped in a bad situation. The front desk employees were nice and I don't blame them for any of this but the experience was very bad. I have never left a bad review but I feel like it is my duty to my fellow citizens in this instance.

Floor was so dirty that it looked like i walked around barefoot outside! Room was run down and needed paint, lights in the washroom were out Lamps on the wall has faulty switches ( big fire hazard). Door wouldnt lock unless you leaned on it and forced the lock. Remote for tv was almost dead and was broken. Wouldn't stay at this place again! Poor example of a LaQuinta!!! Not worth the price!!!

The room most lights didn’t turn on the sink didn’t drain and I believe I was charged wrong but I won’t know till the payment is pulled I had to separate charges and they told me it was a refund for the deposit to wait a couple of days for it and see.

The room was quite nice. However, the plug in the bath for both the coffee machine and the hair dryer was inoperable. Neither were able to be used. Breakfast, eggs were, tepid. Potatoes were cool. When asked for a paper hotel bill receipt , was told the printer was not working. I would have to print it from my computer, to whip do not have one, disappointed in that.

The staff was super friendly and helpful, however, the place itself is run down. The fridge barely kept my food cold, the room AC couldn’t hold a cool temperature, the shower water smelled, it looked like mold in the shower, the ice machine was out of order, I could go on.

First room they tried to give me smelt so bad of smoke, second one the door wouldn’t stay shut, ac unit was falling off the wall, pool of water under the AC unit in the corner of the room occupied by roaches!! The entire room was filthy!! NEVER NEVER NEVER would I recommend this place. It should be shut down! And they refused to refund me! I would rather stay at a motel 6!

The floor and walls were dirty, and there was a large water leak on the ceiling in the bathroom that was growing black mold. The soap dispenser didnt work. We were kept up late by other guests who were drunk and fighting/throwing things off the balcony until midnight. I did not feel very safe.
