    While this property is updating the rooms and given a new look and furniture inside them, once you walk outside it is rough. Really rough. The walkways and railing are nasty. The stairs and sidewalks are nasty. The parking lot is nasty. Depending on what room you are assigned, is like night and day. Using a 3rd party vendor got me a room in back of hotel with the old nasty furniture and felt unsafe in back. Gang symbols painted on trash can. Garbage in parking lot. The evening clerk was less than interested in my presence checking in. The reviews were totally untrue on their site. I never am one to complain, but I was misled by the high review count. I was moved to a new room more to shut me up, not out of trying to be courteous. Excuses given for what room I was assigned. It is like they are revamping a motel 6 that had been used by transients in the past, not travelers. Clean up the surroundings and parking lot. Put new mats at each door. Replace old railing. The prices should reflect work in progress, not the finished product not yet achieved. Evening staff should practice being more upbeat and welcoming

    I needed a clean and economical place for one night in order to catch an early flight from ABQ. This worked out wonderfully.

    Hotel rooms and lobbies smelled of smoke, staff was responsive and cooperative with airport pickup. Staff offered room switch but most rooms smelled bad. Had an old run down feel and not enough people to manage the number of rooms
