I’ve been going to St Croix for 12 years and need to advise that if you’re looking for a 5 star luxury hotel / resort; you’re on the wrong island; goto St Thomas. Hotels here are mainly historic / small, which keeps with the island. With that said I loved staying at this hotel. It’s 300 years old; very clean, in the heart of everything, just feet from the restaurants / shops / water. The manager is on site. Being historic, if you stay in the top floors you must walk the stairs. I stayed in a top floor room (3rd story) with a nice ocean view; (yes it took a minute to get hot water but what’s the rush, the water was hot and you’re in a 300 yo hotel). It’s decorated with a lot of historical items and there is a very relaxed covered bar!). This is a perfect hotel for couples who want to relax, come and go as you please. I will staying here the next time I come to St Croix!

Location is perfect. Hotel definitely needs upgrades but overall for the price and location it was good.

We absolutely fell in love with this historical hotel. It is in the center of town and walking distance to the harbor/restaurant. The staff was so kind, helpful and showed us some history about the hotel. There’s also a really neat connected to the hotel, lots of charm and old Hollywood history.
