Red Roof Inn San Dimas - Fairplex

Very friendly staff! Let's get that out of the way first. However, when I walk into the room the floors are disgusting they need remodeling just the whole place needs remodeling I mean just nothing is really new everything's worn out got cabinet peace falling apart you got rust on the hand around in the shower you got the floor peeling against the wall in front of the toilet and just needs a lot of work if they remodel that place it be great other than that no complaints

The room felt old and dingy. It had a horrible smell

The room was clean I love that the room have a fridge and stove and was very spacious will definitely be staying again !

Comfortable

Room was ok, however the shower and area wasn't that clean, seem it was just wipe down the shower floor looks like it hasn't been deep clean in a long time.. The over all room is showing its age, needs rehab badly. Parking area needed up keep daily sweeping hotel grounds not well kept. doesn't show pride of ownership. staff not to friendly or helpful Will not be my first choice for hotel stay the next time in town

Very nice location.

Cannot open window. Room was clean but smells bad. Bed were ok. Rooms need refurbished. Property not clean. Garbage near bin was full and rubbish lying on the ground. Should have spend more and stay at a better hotel.

On first glance the room was wonderful. However it was not very clean sink was cracked. Behind the nightstand and bed hadn’t been cleaned in a very long time trash and dust was thick. Grounds were very pretty.

Comfy stay

Missing a washcloth, no plug for the tub to soaked in,curtain not wide enough to cover the tub,coffee maker not working, a/c had a straw stucked in the fan blade making a funny noise. Live and dead ants on one bed and nightstand. Need light above on the ceiling where there's a table for eating

Smelled like pee everywhere, staff was unhelpful. Partner and I got into the shower, got soaking wet and realized the soap dispensers were empty, called front desk hoping someone would bring us some soap, but they told us to come get it ourselves. We decided to dig our own out of our vehicle, 35 minutes later someone finally showed up with soap, after we were out of the shower

Front desk staff was really nice… Very friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and newly remodeled. The grounds are absolutely beautiful. My only complaint is the tray that holds the coffee in the coffee maker doesn’t fit so there’s no in room coffee.

Front desk lady was rude & lazy. Had a great time talking to other regular, white guests though. I asked if they could out my things in my room while I wanted to hear back from my partner. She said she had no one to take it, but didnt offer a rack. Also wouldnt allow the deposit to be given with the 2nd guest listed, which many other hotels have allowed before. She was rude about both things, but i didnt complain. People were loudly smoking & drinking outside my room at 3AM. Pool area is nice, but very unfriendly as far as white guests go. I will not be staying at this location again. I am still waiting for the refund of my deposit for over 48hrs, the same deposit they wouldnt give us an exception to pay a couple hours after check-in. Typically, other hotels refund my boss within 2hrs of check out.

I was surprised with my experience at the red roof, the person helping me was super friendly, beyond my expectations. I believe his name was John. That helped me. My overall stay was comfortable and very enjoyable. Definitely coming back again soon :)

Nice and quiet motel in a nice area. Plenty of restaurants within walking distance. Clean rooms and comfortable beds.

Great pool but people that hang around the Inn are questionable. There was a couple having sex right next to the trash cans in the parking loy

It was a very run down hotel. They need to take some time and put some money into a remodel. It’s time for it. It stinks pretty bad. Plus had cockroaches crawling around in our room.

Parking lot dirty. Se real people outside on the decking areas smoking and waking up early and making noise. I felt sticky when I laid down and had some bumps on my skin. I looked for animals but they were unseen. This place needs upgrades and more attention

This place was a rundown dump. Homeless people camped out in the parking lot along with several broken down cars. Do not let the pictures for you. This is a dump.

Overall I had a very pleasant time there. There was a miss on my part on arriving early to check in. One of the morning staff was not very understanding. Once my other family members arrived I did ask what was the earliest I could check in I was told 3pm ish. The other morning staff member was more understanding and receptive.

Feels very cozy.
