Candelor House - Apartment & Garden Trastevere

The layout was great and they provided fans which helped circulate the cold air! I was so happy they had fans. My kids liked having separate beds and separate space. My son liked going up to the loft and my daughter liked her space below. Bathrooms were very nice and clean. Close to buses and trams and at night was quiet. Good breakfast spots and other dining areas around it

Great little apartment on the ground floor. Host was very responsive when one of the keys to access the building broke upon first use. Nice offering of toast, jams and teas. Living space seating a bit small but typical of an Italian apartment and worked fine for our family of 4. Beds were comfortable for all. The light switches were marked with what they operated which was soooo nice after many stays of flicking lights off and on elsewhere. Location was nice, maybe a little further than I thought from the heart of Trastevere but that provided quiet that we likely wouldn't have had if we were closer. Was still a manageable walk.

Everything was great. If have to find something, the half bath was a bit older and very small but was very nice to have the additional bathroom! Also, the first night in the main bedroom, we could not find curtains to close or any way to darken the bedroom from the sidewalk and lights outside. We did discover the next morning the switches to roll down the shades to provide privacy and darkness. Would be nice if those were marked as well for those of us who don't know that is a 'thing'. Overall highly recommend.

Great apartment for 3 people in a quiet section of Trastevere. Almost off the beaten path in a neighbourhood that has LOTS of tourists. Host was very communicative. The place was very clean. Showers are a bit tight, but that's been my experience in several Italian washrooms. All went well. Thank you.
