One of the few stays on the Camino where you can relax in the countryside listening to nature, sample good homemade food, and take a cold beverage (from the outdoor bar). The hosts were very welcoming and hospitable. House full of character and more traditional features. Bed was comfortable but would have preferred cotton sheets and pillow case (not towelling?). It's a work in progress and i'm sure can only get better. Price is correct and would recommend to stay for the experience and tranquility.

Eine kleine Ruheoase auf den letzten, (ja meist volleren) Kilometern des Camino Frances. War für mich ideal, um für die letzten 2 Etappen nochmal richtig Kraft zu schöpfen. Supernette und authentische Gastgeber, ein kleines Restaurant, in dem man voll und sehr gut verpflegt wird und leckerer Kaffee! Sehr bequemes Bett, alles sauber, ein richtiger Wohlfühlort, wie zu Hause. Danke!

The River house is a wonderful place to stay. Roberto and his wife work hard to ensure you have a pleasant stay. It is early days in their business but I believe they will do very well. I would encourage those walking the Camino Francés to consider staying here. I was delighted with my stay...
